Governance / Risk & controls
This page summarises the framework SDIF applies to its activities. The company's governing documents and internal policies are confidential and are not published.
01Documented authority
Management authority is exercised through the Office of the Founding Partners. Material decisions are reserved under the company's governing documents. Delegated authority is written and limited.
Define reserved matters and the scope of management authority.
Exercises management authority and approves policies and limits.
Specific, limited authority for defined activities, systems or amounts.
Approvals and exceptions are documented and retained.
02Risk management
Risk limits are set in writing before capital is deployed. No leverage or new strategy is approved by silence. Positions and counterparties are reviewed periodically.
03Information security & cybersecurity
04Operational controls
SDIF approaches digital asset infrastructure with an emphasis on security, operational resilience, risk management, and transparent reporting. Our infrastructure strategy incorporates appropriate custody safeguards, continuity planning, and reconciliation procedures, subject to applicable operational arrangements and internal controls.
Changes to production systems are planned, approved and logged.
Oversight of infrastructure in line with internal controls.
Reconciliation procedures support transparent reporting.
Decisions, approvals and incidents are retained as business records.
05Compliance
SDIF seeks to comply with applicable sanctions, anti-money-laundering and tax requirements, and engages outside counsel on regulatory questions. Because SDIF deploys only proprietary capital and offers no products or services to investors, it does not solicit or accept outside capital.
Inquiries
Due-diligence requests from financial institutions are handled by the Office of the Founding Partners through an appropriate secure channel — not through the public form.
